The inscription on this memorial has eroded and some of it can no longer be read - especially the top
section. This is what we think is written. We have also included some

died 1st November 1798
Aged 32 years
Susanna was the daughter of Rev. Francis Marias West, who was Rector of Dauntsey from 1757-1800, and also Rector at St. James,
Draycot Cerne 1779-1800. He lost other children too, including Milborne and Maria Ann.
