Churches Conservation Trust Trust that cares for redundant churches.
Church Crawler Phil Draper's church photographs (mainly UK).
Churches Monuments Society
Commonwealth War Graves This excellent and touching site provides information on those who lost their lives serving their country in the armed forces during the World Wars.   Information includes dates of birth and death, and where the person was laid to rest.   You can also print a memorial for that person.
Cyndi's List Lots of information about all sorts of things to do with family history.   Probably the definitive list for genealogy, but beware you'll spend a lot longer on-line than you ever intended!
Digital Atlas of England Digitally recording some counties of England, this website contains amongst other things lists of open/locked churches and the View Buildings website.   Registration is free; resource material is available to purchase.
English Heritage "Making the Past Part of Our Future"
General Register Office Order bmd certificates on-line, and plenty of other information.
GENUKI An absolute must for British genealogy studies.
The Heraldry Society "The Heraldry Society exists to increase and extend interest in and knowledge of heraldry, armory, chivalry, genealogy and allied subjects.   The Society is non-profit making and is registered as an educational charity."
Historic Churches Preservation Trust HCPT is a charity and is the leading body dedicated to preserving our churches.
Images Of England Photographic record of England's Listed buildings.
Latin Dictionary Type Latin and English is returned; also a link to a Latin Grammar site.
Maritime Memorials Commemorating seafarers and victims of maritime disasters.
Monumental Brasses Very informative site about monumental brasses.
Moonrakers A website and list dedicated to the Wiltshire genealogist.   Wiltshire information, a contacts list, links to other related sites and even some GEDCOMs of Wiltshire families given by fellow researchers.   Subscribe to their mailing list via the site.
Name databases Search the site provided by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, allowing access to their databases of genealogical data.

Pedigrees and People Pedigrees and People is run by Sheila Jones.   Plenty of useful information here.
Photographers & Photograph Studios in Derbyshire Although primarily concerned with photographers in the Derbyshire area, "Genealogists and family historians will hopefully find this a useful tool for dating old family photographs".   If you are having problems dating old photograph, this site may help you.
Rootsweb Rootsweb is a genealogy resource site.   It has lots of information including how to start researching your family tree, and searchable databases.   BUT beware - there is so much here you should give yourself plenty of time to look around.

Town-Guides Current information about towns and villages in Wiltshire - ie employment, house prices, politics.   (Also other counties.)  
UK Maps - Multimap Enter a place name, post code or Ordinance Survey grid reference to see a map of the surrounding area.   Also allows entry of street name for detailed map of London.   Church pages on our website have a link to view a map of the town, using a postcode, or to the search facility at this map website if we do not have the postcode.   You can zoom in for more detail, or out to see where it is in relation to other towns.   Many areas also have aerial photographs.
