The grave of Kingsman Jaques lies in the churchyard just beyond the west wall of the nave. Some of the lower part of the inscription is no longer readable as it is too eroded. If you know what the inscription says please let us know so we can add it to this page.

In Memory of
KINGSMAN JAQUES
Who died Sept. 19th 1869 Aged 78 years.
Afflictions sore long time bore
Physicians were in vain
But death came ease as God did ---e
And freed me from my pain
