Lochcarron is in the Wester Ross area of the Highlands, Scotland. The War Memorial over looks the loch and commemorates men from other locations as well as Lochcarron.
The memorial has four sides on its base - the front panel has a verse in Gaelic with an English translation on the back. The two side panels have the names of those lost.
We have transcribed the memorial with both the Gaelic and English verse. Should you wish to print it as a tribute please use the 'Printable Version' link on the transcription page - this version has our menu/page links removed.
