Our photographs are a snapshot in time to show a building's history.

Arclite House in West Swindon was designed by Richard Hywel Evans and was completed in December 1999. More information about it can be seen at
Architects Journal Buildings Library.
The building shows us we don't have to put up with the concrete boxes architects seem to want to blight our landscape with nowadays. It is elegant, fits beautifully with its lake side setting and always draws the eye.
It is also extremely difficult to photograph! Positioning oneself in a place to fit the whole building in is impossible without resorting to a boat, a plane or cutting down trees. To stand at one end of the building means, because of its curves, the other end cannot be seen. These photographs simply do not capture the fluidity and beauty of the building.
In spring of 2015 two companies are now working from the building - a welcome sight after seeing it empty for so long.
The first three photographs - showing one of it's new company name - are at the top and the other photographs are shown in order roughly starting at one end and walking along to the other, followed by the car park view, then a few shots from the opposite side of Peatmore Lake.
