This building we have called number 20 Bridge Street although it is now part of a group of buildings that have been knocked through to become one larger premise. We have photographs of it being Walkabout, TPs and Liquor Lounge - all bars/restaurants.
The Swindon Local Studies stream on Flickr has a document showing Gillett & Coles family grocers, were at this address circa 1870. We do not know if the building in our photographs is the original building Gillett & Coles occupied or it has been re-built since.
