British Home Stores (BHS) has traded from a few locations in the Swindon town centre but has now closed.

It's original location was on the corner of The Parade and Bridge Street - a photograph of it can be seen at:  Flickr.com.  The entire block in The Parade was knocked down and a new building put in it's place - while this took place BHS had a temporary home in Regent Street - see photograph at:  Flickr.com.

After the building was complete, BHS moved back into The Parade, in much smaller permises than before.  It finally closed when the company ceased in 2016.
