We think this incarnation of the mural was created 2001 and was called the Happy Wall - it replaced the Ken White original mural dated circa 1980. Created by the Contemporary Artists of Swindon (CAOS), the design was based on drawings by children from near by Robert Le Kyng school. Our photographs were taken some eleven years later and the wall looks very sorry for itself and is no longer very Happy. On top of the design can be seen much graffiti so it is hard to see what should be there. The wall and painting had deteriorated so much that in 2015 it was re-rendered and a new mural took its place.
Please see our main
Cambria Mural page for details about the wall's other designs, photographs during renovation and repainting and links to photographs/information on other websites.
