Hagbourne Copse is a small woodland close to Junction 16 of the M4 motorway at the edge of an industrial estate.  Despite the constant noise of the motorway, it manages to be a peaceful place and is a real breath of fresh air in contrast to its man-made surroundings.

We visited during May 2015 when the bluebells were in flower.  What is it about bluebells that are so appealing?  The display was quite breath taking - we have never seen so many so densely packed before.  Truely a beautiful sight.

Our photographs were taken in roughly a circular route, going straight on (not right) once going through the gate.  It was difficult to narrow down which to put here as we actually took 133 photographs!  Perhaps it was fortunate that we went in the evening not too long before the sun set or we may have taken many many more.

A notice by the entrance informs us the owner of the land has allowed us (the public) to go in and enjoy the woodland.  We would like to thank the owner for allowing us to do so.
