Havelock Square is in the main shopping area of Swindon, between the Brunel Centre and Havelock Street. During 2016 it underwent major works because tree roots had caused a lot of problems to the services underneath the square (compromising emergency procedures). At the same time as rectifying these problems, the square was re-designed including moving the statue of Brunel to across the square, and new trees were planted. We do have a few photographs of the work and how it looks now but these photographs are not ready to be added yet.
Our photographs are a snapshot in time to record a building's history.
