The Prince of Wales, Swindon, Wiltshire
The Prince of Wales pub opened prior to 1869 and is located in Union Street in the Old Town area of Swindon. When we took the first two in 2005 it was still open as a pub but has since closed and been converted into homes. Oh if only we knew it was going to change we would have taken lots more photographs back in 2005! A visit in 2018 shows the property to look very similar, minus the name and sign and it is good to see the Prince of Wales feathers stone carving and the Ushers sign have survived.
