Queen's Park has four entrances - from Drove Road, Groundwell Road, York Road and Durham Street. The park is Grade II listed - listing details can be seen at the:
Historic England website. It was opened on 30th May 1953 by Sir Noel Arkell (High Sheriff of Wiltshire) to commemorate the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. These photographs were taken in 2012 - the Diamond Jubilee year of Queen Elizabeth's reign.
We strolled around the park one evening in May taking these photographs as we went, apart from the first photograph, they are in order of our walk which started by the Durham Street entrance, turning right to follow the lake around, then approaching the old Hot House (now ruins), stopping off at the memorial garden and completing the circle back to where we started. There are plenty more photographs to be taken of the park and I'm sure we will return to take some more.
