This 17th Century cottage is the birthplace of author Richard Jefferies and is now run as a museum by the Richard Jefferies Museum Trust and a dedicated group of enthusiastic volunteers. The building is Grade II listed - details of the listing can be seen at:

The blue plaque was organised by the Swindon Heritage team and was unveiled on Sunday 2nd June 2019.
Our photographs are, well, not good! We visited on a very wet evening in June and only managed to snap a couple of photos as we and the camera were getting wet. They are dull and uninspiring to say the least. But until we visit again they will have to do.
