The Church of St. John the Baptist, Charlton, Wiltshire, England

St. John the Baptist is in the attractive village of Charlton, next to Charlton Park, near Malmesbury in Wiltshire.  We will return to the church to take more photographs when time permits.

Mandy is the great grand-niece of Kate Lea, who was born at Charlton in 1869.  Kate married James Exton (born Malmesbury 1868) in Cleveland, Ohio, where they emigrated in 1890.  There are a number of Lea graves in the yard at Charlton although so far we have found no connections with Mandy's Lea family.
