The Church of St. Katharine, Savernake, Wiltshire

This is the grave of Lord Charles Frederick and his wife Margaret Brudenell-Bruce.  Unfortunately the inscription is very hard to read and we could not make out the second name listed on the stone but we could see the date of death.  So we looked in the burial records (which are kept inside the church) and looked at entries for 1936 and only one of the six had the surname Brudenell-Bruce - "Lord Charles Frederick Brudenell-Bruce".  The record states he was living at Brooke House, Clapham, London at the time of his death, aged 87 years.  He was buried on the 4th June 1936, the ceremony being performed by the vicar (whose handwriting we cannot read but looks H. S. Wingham Fi-----).
