As you can see, the top of this gravestone has broken off the base and is now leaning on it.  Although we could not see all of the inscription we could see the surname and date of death, so the Burial records (which are available inside the church to see) gave us the information of the name.  The list also shows us that Mary was living at Savernake Hotel and aged 43 at the time of her death.  She was buried on 16th August 1892 and the ceremony was performed by H. C. Watson, Offic. Minister.
