The inscription on this gravestone is too obscured to read it.  We could see part of the first name and further down the surname and date of death, so the Burial records (which are available inside the church to see) gave us the information of the name.  The list also shows us that Mary was living at Durley Burbage and aged was aged 77 at the time of her death.  She was buried on 22nd May 1900 and the ceremony was performed by F. W. Carre (Vicar).  Although we could see the name John Green, we could not see the date of death so were unable to search the records to find more details about him.
