The parish church in Sutton Benger is called All Saints.  We visited in June 2000 when we hadn't long started photographing churches and back then we didn't photograph them in the same detail as we do now.  This is partly due to only having a 'stills' camera which was expensive to use, and we used a video camera to capture most shots.  The video camera photographs are of very poor quality but better than having less photographs of a place.  (The photograph number for these photographs starts 'D'.)

Since buying a digital camera we are trying to re-visit those early visited churches to replace those poor quality photographs.  So January 2012 we went back to All Saints, only to find it is now kept locked and a notice about taking photographs.  So we were unable to replace our inside shots and only took a small number of the outside.  We have since contacted the minister for the church who was very welcoming of our interest in photographing the church and told us we are welcome to go back and photograph all we want, including the inside after arranging for the church to be opened.  So, this page is very much a 'work in progress'.  Although as yet we haven't found time to go back, but we will!
