We found ourselves rather confused when trying to find St. Thomas at East Shefford.  The CCT website told us to park outside the large gates to the estate where it was signposted 'Church car park'.  We were using an OS map to navigate and did see some impressive gates but we could see no sign for the church parking so we were unsure if we were in the right place.  We drove round for a while and could find no other suitable gateway so came back and decided to risk walking in through the side gate.

Further along the lane we turned right at a junction (as instructed by the CCT) and fortunately found the church - with some relief that we were in the correct place and not trespassing!

Although perhaps not so necessary with today's 'smart phone' technology, we took a few photographs of our journey and should you find yourself in the same situation we were, hopefully these photographs will give you the confidence to know you are heading in the right direction.
