We had a one-night stay in Isle of Whithorn.  We stayed at the  Steam Packet Inn  where the view across the harbour was just wonderful.  In the morning we went for a walk around and found the place so peaceful and so beautiful that we decided we must return and stay for much longer.  We did go back a number of times and have over 400 more photographs to add to these pages when we have time.  Although called 'Isle' it does appear to be part of the mainland.

Many of the structures are Listed Buildings, including the harbour quay, a castle, the churches and houses.
