The Church of St. James, Sevenhampton, Wiltshire, England

Turn off the busy road between Swindon and Highworth and within a short time you will enter the village of Sevenhampton.  The village is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside.

The church of St. James is to one end of the village, slightly raised from the main part, giving lovely views of the surrounding farmland.  The church building looks to be in a good state of repair and well cared for.

The United Churches Cricket 6-Aside competition is held annually on the May Day Bank Holiday in this most idyll setting, complete with babbling brook and ducks!

The church of St. James is a Grade II listed building - more information about the listing can be found at the  Historic England  website.  Please note this site calls the church St. Andrew noting it was formerly listed as St. James.
