On the day we visited St. Andrew's church in Shrivenham, they were having a very busy day. Not only was there a flower festival and history display going on, but also a wedding and a pre-christening talk was about to happen. We were invited to spend a short time in between the latter two events to take these photographs. We did a quick dash round but there is so much more to see than we had time to take photographs of. Even the outside was difficult to take photographs of due to all the wedding guests standing around before and after the wedding.
The church of St. Andrew is a Grade I listed building - more information about the listing can be found at the
Historic England website.
St. Andrew's has its own
website.
At the time we visited we did not have a digital camera and most of these photographs are actually shorts captured from a video camera and are of poor quality. We really need to go back and start again with our photographs!
