St. John The Evangelist took over as Sutton Veny's parish church in 1868; prior to this the parish church was  St. Leonard.

We were unable to stay long at this church as we were trying to find a particular memorial which turned out to be at the old church.  This meant we did not take all the photographs we would have liked to and I'm sure we will return another time to take some more detailed photographs.

Our thanks go to the people in the church who made us feel welcome; it is always interesting to be shown around the church personally.
