The Church of St. Michael & All Angels, West Overton, Wiltshire, England
The church at West Overton is a beautiful building set in beautiful Wiltshire countryside. A brief guide/history of the church and village is available inside the church - any information given on these pages is taken from this leaflet. It states the church registers go back as far as 1682, giving both Overton and Fyfield entries until 1732 when each church had their own registers.
When we visited way back in 2001 we only had a video camera to take the majority of these shots - they are of poor quality but better than not having any photographs. Now we have a digital camera we hope to return and take 'proper' photographs when time permits.
The Church is a Grade II* listed building - details of the listing can be seen at the Historic England website.
