Village of Wootton Rivers, Wiltshire
The rain and lighting prevented us taking many photographs of the village, but these couple of the canal offer a glimpse of how picturesque this village is.
We had a splendid meal at The Royal Oak - the only problem was choosing from such an extensive menu.
Our thanks go to the young bar man who made us welcome and looked after us. The building dates from the 16th Century and is Grade II listed - information about the listing can be seen at the
Historic England website.
