We have dropped in to the church of Saints Mary and Nicholas in Wilton twice and both times were unable to stay inside for very long - the second time due to a wedding rehearsal about to start.  We will endevour to return and take more detailed photographs.

From the outside the Italian style design is most striking - certainly a most unusual site to be found in Wiltshire.  The inside is highly decorated - we will need to take many many photographs of this church!  As with many large churches with stained glass windows (as opposed to clear glass), the inside of the building is quite dark and the flash on the camera is not up to the job of lightening the entire area, so these photographs of the larger areas are inevitable rather dull.
