We visited the parish church of St. Michael and All Angels at Hilperton on a Sunday afternoon, just five minutes after a Methodist service had begun (the Methodist congregation now meet each week in the parish church). We waited for the service to end and went inside to ask permission to take photographs. Although we were given permission, unfortunately the church was just about to be locked, so we only had a few minutes to take photographs. Our thanks go to the two members of the congregation who stayed behind and waited patiently while we snapped away.
At that time we only had a stills camera and a video camera (with which we could 'capture' a photograph) and sadly the few photographs we do have are of a poor quality. We do hope to return another time to take proper photographs of this beautiful building.
