The inside of the church building is very serene and pleasing.  A fitting place to sit for a while and contemplate whilst taking in the surroundings.

You may notice in a few photographs below there is a tray in the aisle - this was at a time when there was a leak in the roof and of course they needed to capture the water.  Because the building is so old the authorities became involved to make sure the correct materials were used for the repair; this involved waiting for inspections and of course raising money for these repairs.  The worry was that as they waited for visits and reports, the problem because worse.  This is all in the past now though as we were very pleased to note that we we last visited there was not a bucket to be seen catching water and the ceiling showed no sign of disrepair.
