Holy Rood Church, Swindon, Wiltshire
This tomb is located in the graveyard of Holy Rood church. It is the resting place of the family of the author Richard Jefferies (he is buried at Broadwater & Worthing Cemetery), including his grandson William Hall.
Sadly the inscriptions are very difficult to read as they have eroded with time and our harsh winters.
The tomb is Grade II listed - for information about the listing see the Historic England website.
