This work was displayed in the Swindon Museum and Art Gallery as part of their Swindon in the Great War display, and is titled: Flag Days in Swindon, Collected by Alderman J. Powell. What an incredible record of the fundraising to help the war effort.
We have taken some close-up shots in order to capture text and picture detail. The picture has a glass front which has acted rather like a mirror - please ignore relections of us and the camera!
