This war memorial - by Mike Pringle - was installed late 2018 in time for the 100th anniversary of the end of the 1st World War.  We took a few photographs as we passed before work was finished and didn't want to discard them because this is part of the memorial's history.  The three men working on the landscaping were somewhat bemused by us wanting to take photographs before the work was finished but were willing to be included in them when we pointed out they, too, are part of this memorial's history.
