This statue by Andrew Brown is located next to the harbour in Port William, with the subject looking out to sea.

We understand this is a replacement - the original was made of concrete which became eroded.  A magnificent fundraising effort for this much loved statue meant it could be re-cast in brass.  The stone near it gives a date of 2005, but this might be for the original rather than this replacement.
