We visited Queenhill on a rather dull day in March 2012.  The last part of our journey was on foot along a track which had lovely views of the surrounding countryside and we felt rather lucky that our visit was when the close-by M50 motorway was closed for major repairs.  For those who are used to all the noise the motorway brings, the absolute lack of cars might even have been considered eerie, but to us we just thought how tranquil it was in the church and grounds.
