The Graveyard at Saint Columba's Island, Skeabost, Isle of Skye
The graveyard at St. Columba is difficult to traverse - it is full of pot-holes and dips and one must be very careful when walking around.
There are many gravestones that are so eroded it is now not possible to read their inscriptions. There are also a couple of rather extra-ordinary stones (again with no name) whose carvings have survived the worst of Scottish weather. Below are photographs of some stones where the names cannot be read.
