Gravestones at Christ Church, Swindon, Wiltshire
We made some assumptions when deciding what surname to assign Caroline and her son William. The inscription for Caroline shows 'Caroline The Beloved Wife of Thomas Hayward' - from this we have given Caroline the surname of Hayward.
Also mentioned is William, son of the above but we do not know if his surname is Hayward Tanner or just Tanner. Usually the son would be given the parents' surname.

The stone is second from left in this photograph. It is by the footpath entrance from Cricklade Street, the other road (with the parked cars) is Church Road.
